1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the purchase and use of products and services through About Tea ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

By purchasing from our website, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, please do not place an order.

 

2. Prices, Availability & Taxes

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and subject to change without notice.

Product availability may vary, and we make no guarantee that all products will always be in stock.

Applicable taxes and government charges, such as GST, may be added to the purchase price where required by law.

 

3. Payment Terms

We accept payment via most major credit cards.

Orders will not be dispatched until full payment has been received.

We reserve the right to refuse any transaction suspected of fraud or illegal activity.

 

4. Shipping & Delivery

We are a small, passionate team dedicated to creating high-quality, handcrafted teas in limited batches. To maintain the freshness and integrity of our blends, we prepare each batch with care, which may result in a processing time of up to 7 days before shipping.  This means that delivery times will range between 2-14 working days from payment confirmation.  

All orders are shipped via reputable couriers or via Australia Post. Risk of loss passes to the buyer upon dispatch.We are not liable for delays caused by third-party carriers or unforeseen circumstances.  Expedited shipping is available in the checkout process.

 

5. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Orders cannot be cancelled once dispatched.

Refunds and exchanges are only available for defective products. Claims for faulty goods must be made within 2 days of receipt and include photographic evidence.

Returns are processed in compliance with Australian Consumer Law. Change-of-mind returns are not accepted. Refunds will be processed within 7 business days via the original payment method.

 

6. Warranty & Liability Disclaimer

We do not provide warranties beyond those required by law. Products are provided "as is" without additional guarantees.

We are not responsible for product misuse or any damages arising from improper use.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

All content on our website, including images, text, and trademarks, is protected by copyright law and may not be reproduced without permission.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of South Australia.
