  • Burdock and dandelion root have long been valued in Traditional Chinese and Western herbal medicine for their liver-cleansing and purifying properties. Cleavers and nettles are classic spring tonics in European traditions, supporting both the liver and lymphatic system. Cardamom and peppermint aid digestion and help move stagnant energy, as recognised in Ayurveda and Middle Eastern herbal practices. Cornflower, though gentler, has been traditionally used to support liver function and cool the system, rounding out this nourishing, revitalising blend.

  • Use 1 heaped teaspoon per cup in 100°C water.

    The steep time is completely personal; there's no hard and fast rule on your own personal taste.

    • If you like a milder brew, steep for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
    • A little bit stronger brew, steep from 1 minute to 5 minutes.
    • If you really like a strong brew, steep for as long as you like!

    Sweeten to taste with honey, lemon or rock sugar.

    Remember, the beauty of loose leaf teas is that the blends can be brewed a few times, although they will be weaker each time.
